(Undated) -- People across the Northeast are dealing with some of the coldest temperatures they've seen in nearly twenty years. The freezing temperatures come after a winter storm dumped more than a foot of snow in some parts of the region. The town of Boxford, Massachusetts, south of Boston saw nearly two feet of the white stuff. Dangerously low temperatures are expected to push into the weekend, with lows in the region plunging to more than 20 degrees below normal.
A new arctic cold front is moving into the Midwest where windchills could bring temperatures down to 30 to 50 below zero. Some cities may not see the thermometer rise above zero for several days. School has already been canceled on Monday for the entire state of Minnesota.
