(Undated) -- Madonna's Instagram page is under fire for the second time this month. The singer has issued an apology after she used a racial slur in the caption of a photo of her 13-year-old son Rocco. Apparently the Queen of Pop quickly deleted her use of the n-word in the caption posted on Friday. She released a statement the next day saying she is "sorry if [she] offended anyone with [her] use" of the word. But she also said that while "there's no way to defend" the word, she only used it as a "term of endearment toward [her] son, who is white." Madonna added that she does however "appreciate that it's a provocative word" and asked for forgiveness "if it gave people the wrong impression."
The star was also recently criticized for posting photos of the same teenage son holding up bottles of alcohol.
