RZA: Group Received 5-Million-Dollar Offer For Single Album

(Undated) -- The Wu-Tang Clan is already getting huge offers for the single copy for sale of their upcoming album "The Wu -- Once Upon a Time in Shaolin." The album was recorded in secret and will be auctioned off to the highest bidder after it's taken around the country on an exhibition tour. Wu-Tang rapper RZA tells "Billboard" "so far, five-million-dollars is the biggest" offer they've received for the album. Another person has also put in a two-million-dollar bid. RZA says he's been getting emails from strangers and friends alike, including some who are "very high-ranking" in the film and music industries. He adds that the reaction to the album's unique roll-out has been positive.

"Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" will contain 31 tracks with contributions from the entire Wu-Tang Clan. The Cilvaringz-produced project was recorded in secret over a six-year period.
