(Scottsdale, AZ) -- The Scottsdale Unified School District is considering closing a handful of schools to save money. The "Arizona Republic" says the district is facing a potential budget gap of six-million-dollars. During a SUSD meeting last week, members learned increased costs and the district's budget override is forcing them to slash funds elsewhere. Another meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, but don't expect votes on school closures to take place this week.
