Browns Coach Says Pats May Have Jets' Plays

(Berea, OH) -- New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick still might be spying on the rival New York Jets. New Browns head coach and former Jets defensive coordinator Mike Pettine tells SI.com that he believes Belichick may have obtained a Jets' playbook. Fellow former Jets assistant Mike Smith, who is now on Pettine's staff in Cleveland, says Pats quarterback Tom Brady bragged about having a copy of the playbook at former teammate Wes Welker's wedding. The story alleges Belichick obtained the playbook from a mutual friend of his and Jets coach Rex Ryan, Alabama coach Nick Saban . The Patriots were disciplined in 2007 for their involvement in the "Spygate" scandal, where they were caught videotaping Jets' defensive coaches signals from a sideline location.
