Octomom Pleads No Contest To Welfare Fraud
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Nadya Suleman, aka "Octomom," is pleading no contest in Los Angeles to welfare fraud. Suleman, who made national headlines in 2009 after giving birth to octuplets, entered her plea in a courtroom this morning. A judge ordered the woman also known as "Octomom," to perform 200 hours of community service. Authorities say Suleman, who has a total of 14 kids, failed to report income from personal appearances and videos. She was charged with aid by mis-representation and perjury by false application for aid.
